Family reunions 2015

Nery Clan (Father's side)
December 30 at Project 6, Quezon City

Coming home for Christmas meant reunions with family, relatives and friends.  On my father's side, the Nery clan held our family gathering at my uncle's house at Quezon City.  Every family contributed to the pot luck lunch.  There was a raffle, courtesy of our priest uncle, Tito Manny.  It was good to see uncles, aunties, cousins and the next generation kids.

Rap with his pretty nieces Sarah, Chloe, Ava and Sofi.
The seniors chit chatting over lunch.  We brought kare kare to the pot luck, others brought sweet and sour fish, noodles, beef stew, fried chicken and chocolate cakes.

Hael Clan (Mother's side)

This gathering was super fun!  My mother prepared several games for both kids and adults and everyone had a great time. For the kids, some of the games were Paper Boat, the longest 'Happy New Year' greet, Hands-free Balloon Balance and Bring Me.  The group games for the grown ups include Most Number of Body parts Beginning with letter B (can be in English or Filipino), Grouping According to .....  and Pinoy Henyo (Pinoy Genius).   Not a lot of photos were taken, everyone was busy having fun with the games.  It was a hilarious time with this side of the family!

The senior ladies, from youngest to oldest - Merly, Tita, Virginia
Next gen kids - Red, Meg, Angel, Sarah, Sofi and Annika
She hoarded the mic and kept on singing Katy Perry's Roar =)

Sarah was sooo competitive!  She won :)
She also won the longest "Happy new year!" greet game!
Sarah and I won this game!  Scotch tape was provided to stick to the most number of body parts that begin with the letter B in 2 minutes.  Filipino and English words can be used. Our answers include buhok, batok, bumbunan, bigote, balikat, bones, balahibo, bilbil, butt, braso, bibig, bukung-bukong, binti.  We missed bagang and balakang but we still won haha
