Singapore weekend

Ravi had some business meetings in Singapore for a few days.  There was a Penang holiday (Governor's birthday) at the end of his biz trip so we decided that Sarah and I join him then to enjoy the long weekend.

I picked up Sarah after work and we took an evening Airasia flight.  Ravi met us at the airport and we all proceeded to Swissotel, where he has been staying since early that week.  We moved to Mandarin Marina hotel a couple of days later, which was cheaper since I availed of the advance 60days booking.

This trip was a very laid back one, sightseeing was centered around Marina Bay Sands.  We were supposed to meet more friends (from Intel days) but there was some heavy rains that prevented them from joining us, it was only France who braved the stormy weather.  Thanks France for meeting up with us.

This was our souvenir photo at MBS Skypark (expensive at $$40+)

We walked from Esplanade to MBS so we can walk through the Double Helix bridge, brightly lit behind us.
Peace from my babies!
