Another trip to the Saanen Dairy Goat Farm

Two weekends ago, I brought the girls to one of their most requested places to visit in Penang - the Saanen Dairy Goat Farm.  It's an easy 30 minute drive from our house to Balik Pulau, the kampong (village) town where the goat farm is located.

Entrance is free!  They provide grass for feeding the goats, also for free. We usually end up buying goat milk, goat milk pudding, ice cream and other drinks from their small shop before we leave. Breads are sold too but they were none on our recent visit.

There was a newly born goat kid!  It was still bloody.  We saw how the kid attempted so many times to stand up but it was still weak.
Breastmilk is always best for babies =)
The visitor area is spacious and very clean.  Several big electric fans are strategically placed to help cool down and minimize the expected animal stink.
Free grass for feeding the goats.  People always, always take more than one grass =)
Their small store sells goat milk (frozen and ready to drink), goat pudding, ice cream, bread and various drinks.
Friendly goats in the farm.
