Paris Day 1

This is the start of our Paris & Rome adventures last August 1-11, 2013.

Our day started with getting an airport taxi and handing over the address to the driver, which he promptly input in the GPS.  There was a traffic jam halfway to the city, took an hour to reach our apartment in the 15th Arrondissement.  Explored the apartment, unpacked and recharged till after lunch before we headed out.

First stop was the Eiffel Tower grounds, then across the road to the Seine River for our Bateaux Parisiens river cruise.   Jetlag got the better of us so we rested early that first night.
