Most mornings after sending us off to work, Esther and Sarah walk towards the pool/playground area. Over the past months, they met several kids who were also out walking with their respective caretakers - mommies/lolas/nannies.
Since then it has become a regular meeting place for the toddler friends. The circle of friends is actually expanding, which is great as it gets the toddlers to play and socialize with their age group.
Two weeks ago, when Esther went to KL to renew her passport, I stayed home and took Sarah to the playground. Of course we met her friends and they happily ran and played with each other. After a while, we had a mini-picnic of the cereal and raisins that I brought along. Esther said that the next mornings the caretakers started bringing snacks for the kids to share!
These photos were taken one regular morning.

Hi Marz! Same with us. Neil goes to the playground in the afternoons to play with the other kids.
ReplyDeleteHi Dee,
ReplyDeleteWorry ko last time was that staying in an apartment complex would mean no kalaro for Sarah, especially here in Malaysia where people typically keep to themselves. Good thing, very friendly si Esther (our kasambahay) and made friends easily with other kids and their caretakers.
